5Go for these and not the cheaper ones!  Dec 30, 2010 By M.C-S.
Wondering if you should buy the a+a line or buy aden + anais for amazon, Target, Toys'rus or little77? Well, I bought a+a for Target and little77 and they DO NOT come close to these. These are not only bigger, but the thread quality/count is higher than the swaddle cloths produced for one of the companies. I wanted to save $10 and bought them at Target and now that I have some of the original ones at home, I wish I had invested in them straight from the beginning. They really do become softer the more you wash them. Just like Indian Prefolds fluff up and become all nice the more you wash them, these are really soft too!

***EDIT**** 9 Jan 2012

I just saw that now they have added cheaper ones for $35 among the original sized ones listed above - beware those showing up for the original price of $35 are smaller - you can see this under the product information. They are 44 x 44 and not the regular 47 x 47. The ones with the original price of $49.95 are the boutique and much nicer ones!

5wish I would have found these sooner  Apr 14, 2010 By K. J. Bell "Kmbrlee.buzz1"
I bought one of these on clearance for my 3rd(and last) baby. I bought this 4 pack for gifts for friends and so my 2 older kids could have a blanket in the van on trips. These are the BEST blankets for swaddling when the babies are little. I'm a pediatric nurse and also work on the mother/baby floor and wish we had these at the hospital. These blankets wash like a dream, don't hold on to stains and get softer and softer the more you wash them. My kids love theirs and I will be buying more as my friends and family keep having babies! :) One more thing I love about these blankets, they are light weight and fold down into a very small compact size to fit in a diaper bag (I fit 3 in my glove box for trips) but are big enough to double up for warmth. I also found they are great for covering myself when the baby is nursing and neither of us get too hot from a bulky blanket, like I did with his sisters. I highly recommend and think they make a great shower gift. I buy the 4 pack and give away 2 at a time, one to use and one can be in the wash. Slightly expensive but so worth it (my first blanket is over 15mo old and still looks brand new)!

5I've got 12 of these!  Mar 03, 2010 By Anastasia Lee
I love these blankets. They are thin and airy enough that I never worried about my son suffocating with them. If it is colder out, I just double them up.
The blankets are fabulous for spit up accidents. Most blankets are too small. Since these absorb so well and are large. Perfect for swaddling.
My son uses them as sleeping blankets and for security. The are also great to cover up your stroller when your baby is sleeping. Great for picnics and sun shades. Their size lets you be creative.

5Hands Down the BEST swaddling Blanket  Mar 02, 2011 By T. Haggas "passing through"
I just had my 3rd baby. My first, no way he would allow a swaddle and slept beautifully on his back. My second, was small and only liked swaddling from her waist down so you could swaddle her with about anything. My new, adorable bundle of joy absolutely refused to sleep on his back. Initially I gave in to letting him stomach sleep so I could at least get a nap during the day but really wanted to get him to sleep on his back. Everyone said a good tight swaddle would get him to sleep on his back. I tried it and it worked, but, the second he got a little bigger, no blanket could contain this little Houdini.

I was on the verge of trying one of the swaddling blankets like the Miracle Blanket but it was sooo expensive for just one blanket that functioned for just one thing. As I read reviews, I came across the Aden + Anais swaddle wraps which had 5 stars and thought, what the heck, I was going to spend that much for just one blanket.

The Aden + Anais muslin swaddle wraps are hands down, the BEST blankets and totally worth the money. They are huge but at the same time, any excess you have seems to just fold away without being lumpy. They are soft, lightweight, can be easily layered and man, they hold a swaddle like nothing else. As an added bonus, they come in a variety of patterns- the jungle animals I think are the cutest.

If I had it to do all over again, I never would have bought the silly flannel "swaddling" blankets that everyone gives you- they don't hold a swaddle and are best used as burp cloths. I would have bought the Aden + Anais swaddle wraps from the start and plan to buy a set as my "go to" baby gift for everyone from now on!

4Great blanket  Dec 09, 2010 By zkito
This is great blanket. It's thin enough to swaddle a baby in summer. There are two sizes so be careful if you want the bigger one. I wanted to order the bigger one and when I received it, it was smaller. It still works but I like the bigger one better. I think the bigger one is 47x47. Even though this one is smaller, I'm still able to swaddle my 5 month old (soon to be 6 month) baby. Very recommended!
