 Handy little item, but delicate plastic parts don't last Dec 04, 2009

My husband and I both got one of these wallets in May. We love the concept and the style, but we are very disappointed in the durability of these wallets. After approximately six months of use, the plastic pockets in my wallet are splitting along their sides, and the plastic latch on my husband's wallet has stopped latching (it is not cracked or broken, it simply will not catch). We have both been very careful to carry a minimum of cards in the wallet and have not overloaded them or subjected them to unreasonable wear. We both find these wallets to be ideal and convenient, but are shocked at the fragile materials used, which shorten their lifespan. These wallets are expensive, and it is absurd to have an impact-proof metal shell with a feeble plastic latch and innards.

Great for carrying cards and small bills. Its a little pricey, but its definitely unique among wallets. Metal housing is study and the plastic lock is well made. The interior folds hold up well.

Had a concern about my ATM, Debit and Credit cards, most have RFID technoloigy and I wanted to help protect my bank information. I purchased one of the wallets and loaded it up however my leather wallet held more cards. I needed a bigger aluminum wallet so I did the next best thing and ordered a second wallet. The aluminum wallet holds 11 credit card size items so if you only carry 3 or 4 credit cards you should have enough room for your bank cards, drivers license and insurance cards. Got more than that buy two wallets like I did the security is worth a little reorganization.
