Bought a pair - the magnets are INCREDIBLY strong. They WILL NOT fall off. The only thing to be careful of is not to lose the little magnet as you take these off at the end of your day.
They really make your collar look better if you are not wearing a jacket and do not have button-downs. Very cool.
Necessary? No. ;) But very stylin'. :)
A little pricey, I think, otherwise five stars.

These create the perfect crisp collar, that is as clean in the evening as it is when you first put it on. Do yourself a favor though and get the 3-piece kit. I bought the 2 1/2 inch single kit, and it only works for half my shirts.

A recent change in the dress code at work had me scrambling to get some new dress shirts, and these Power Stays are a real nice addition for me.
I think that the plastic collar stays that came with my shirts look fine when I wear a tie and have the top shirt button closed. Most times, though, I wear my dress shirts without a tie - and then the collars look a bit loose and sloppy to me. These Power Stays work great to calm my inner control freak. The collars stay in place where I put them, just as if they were button-down collars.
After using these for about two months, I've never had a magnet come off while wearing a shirt at work. I also haven't noticed any signs of additional wear on the shirts where the collars are held in place. I have had the magnets pop off when trying to adjust where the collars are placed, so I now always hold on to the magnets (from the underside of the shirt) while adjusting. Something to keep in mind if you decide to adjust these out in public...or you might be shaking your pants leg and waiting for the magnet to pop out onto the floor. :)
Overall, I recommend these. I like the control, and the price tag isn't bad when you consider that you can wear these for years. You might also consider the three-pack with different lengths. A bit more money, but likely worth it if your shirts have different collar lengths.

Does what you need them to do. It stays in place the entire work day, and really gives you a clean and professional look. I only consider wearing them without a tie. Great idea, I love them.

My husband always looked like he was wearing big, floppy Elvis collars until we saw this product on "Shark Tank."
Love them. Such a simple, smart solution. Every guy should have a pair of these in his closet. My only wish? More than one extra magnet. My husband's a klutz. Lost one the first night he had them.
