Excellent travel cup. Aug 10, 2009

I was tired of throwing away plastic cups while traveling. This is a good size cup that slips into a carry on or backpack. Durable and contains 1 1/4 cup of liquid. I also have one that works as a travel dog water dish for walks on hot days.

Just what it should be May 24, 2010

I wanted a collapsible cup for traveling, because I make an Airborn drink before each flight. Finding a paper cup or styrofoam cup is challenging sometimes, plus I hate just getting one to throw away. This fits conveniently in my carry-on bag, expands and collapses conveniently, and is just the right size (capacity). Some of the competing products are too small, holding less than 8 ounces.
Compared to some other products, I like this because when it's closed, it's pretty well sealed so any remaining water/liquid doesn't drip out. Of course, I do make it a practice to rinse and dry it out, but still I like that it closes completely. That gives me lots of choices of where to put it.
These open and close well, although sometimes it's a little tricky. That's the reason for only four stars. That said, it works reliably, and I use mine on every trip.
Awesome Mar 13, 2012
By Marcy Fox Awesome cup. Someone wrote a review that it had a weird smell. No, it doesn't. It doesn't smell like anything. I bought 2, one for work, one for my purse. At work, it's awesome because I can microwave it if I'm craving coffee. When I'm out, and I pull this thing out of my bag, I have to answer a million questions about it like a mini-commercial. Here goes: It's environmentally friendly, so I'm not wasting plastic cups when I'm out. When I'm at a friend's house and their cups look sketchy (dirty), I have my own to use. I don't have to bend down at a water fountain if I need to drink or take pills. It folds little enough to fit in my purse. If I want a sip of a friend's drink, I don't have to get their cooties, just pour some in my awesome cup. If it's not completely dry, no biggie, the container holds in moisture or drippies when it's closed. It's durable, so if I drop it, no worries. Holds a good amount of liquid, 12 ounces (can of soda or beer). It's sturdy enough to stand on its own because of the connected base, so I can set it down on grass, or a sandy beach, without worrying that it'll topple. Better yet, the base functions as a coaster for any condensation. Awesome! I bought 2. But now I think I should've bought the one that came in a 4-pack because I want to leave one in my car. Trust me, it's awesome.

this product should not be used practically. It holds no shap, smells bad, and is flimsy. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Not for everyone Jun 09, 2010
By Alex A. Sanders I was very excited when ordering this product. It looked and sounded so good, just what I wanted. Everything changed once I got the cups (I ordered 2). And here is why. The smell is awful. I tried everything possible but it just smells when you drink from it. I am not sure whether it affects the taste as the smell is entering your nose immediately thus making the taste issue secondary. The folding "spiral" effect though ingenious, didn't work for me - every time I had to close - it was, well, tricky... It is definitely not an item to keep in your glove compartment, maybe only for emergency usage, I don't know. Some people might find it passable as compared to fragile foam cups, converted or cut bottle bottoms, or other impromptu solutions (not for a child though). After a week struggle I put it away for good. Sorry, but idea is great
