This watch winder is designed to accommodate two watches and two sizes to fit both large and small wrist watches. Also features a viewing glass top and a locking latch.
The winder is powered by either an AC adaptor (included) or by 4 "C" size batteries. The ultra quite motor operation is virtually silent and is programmable to a two position winding mode of either only clockwise or alternating clockwise and counterclockwise.  Looks nice, quiet operation, barely adequate performance Feb 26, 2011

I picked this watch winder because it looks great and can be battery operated, which avoids the clutter of power cords. But I find that the movement barely keeps my watches wound and they lose several minutes daily. This device has a single speed, but can be set to rotate in a single direction or to alternate rotation directions every few seconds. So it doesn't offer as many options to customize the motion as other devices. The single direction rotation doesn't wind my watches and they quickly stop working. The setting to alternate rotation directions barely keeps them wound.

The Winder run smooth..quiet...work well. The adapter is worldwide use cause I am in Asia using 220 V. Timer is inside no need for use the external timer..just plugin and power on. Thank you...

This watch winder looks better when received than it does in the picture. Very Rich leather. Additionally, appears to run well on both AC and Battery.
Retailer was very service oriented and nice to deal with.
